They split up some joined the X-men to get better control of their powers and help others, some joined the brotherhood to create chaos and let all humanity know that mutants are far superior to humans. Now 28 former contestants have joined the X-men to help protect the earth and stop the Brotherhood at all costs as well.

Reincarnation in the Marvel World is a dangerous thing. After all, the Marvel world is filled to the brim with Gods, Aliens, Cosmic Entities, Super Geniuses Among Super Geniuses most of whom are very morally gray at best, and all of whom seem to have some kind of boner for Planet Earth. As for the residents of Planet Earth themselves? They are too busy fighting amongst themselves to care much of anything else. Unless the topic suddenly shifts to Mutants. Then they get a raging hate boner for the gene freaks and band together regardless of country or religion to burn the spawn of Satan while stabbing them with pitch forks. And somehow, through some cosmic joke, I ended up becoming a Mutant in that very same world. ..... Joy.

Charles feels betrayed, of course he does. Erik went off and married another woman. And had twins with her, which now Erik is begging Charles to help him find. Charles can't a complain too much, he has Moira. But that doesn't mean this doesn't hurt. (set after XMEN: Apocalypse but I have changed parts of the movie, like the fact that in the movie Erik had a wife and daughter who died, whereas in this fanfic that doesn't happen to Erik)
