All her life, Christina George had been taught how to live like a perfect lady. Perfecting house chores, lessons on femininity, being easy and submissive to the male world, preserving her beauty, and being house-oriented. But her life changed when her mother died of tuberculosis. Her destiny removed her from the shelter of her house in Peacham, under her mother's shade, and placed her in the cold Welton Academy, where everywhere she looked, there were boys whom she was not supposed to be near. Her father, Mr. George, who has always been far from his family for the sake of his career, wanted her daughter to be a doctor before she would marry so that she would not have to depend on a man. Already abandoned by one parent, Christina feared that if she didn't walk on her father's path, she would be abandoned by her other parent, too. They don't know it yet but one day their paths would collide when Welton Academy had opened a new opportunity for girls to join their school. It started when the people in Vermont wanted Welton to include girls in their school to show equality, of course there were people against this project but in the end the school had made up their mind and welcomed the new students in Welton.

Miss. Y/N Charmwell Had being living in Paris France her whole life, attending countless high end private schools, being the top of them all, she thought she had it all, a good family, friends, romance and integrity, but soon that all changed it was a fateful night one no one in the Charmwell family could or would forget. Elizabeth and Frank Charmwell (other wise know and Liv and Frankie, or mum and dad) got into a fatal car antecedent on the way back from a diner party. This crash left Charmwell in tears all while being rushed aboard a plane it America losing everything and everyone. Charmwell starts attending Dawell Academy for girls which is attached to an all boys school Welton Academy. Being the newbie she has to attend one class from Welton. Mr. Keatings English and Poetry class.

The worst part of this ending is that no one got a happy end, even the antagonist. Warning : Spoilers (Do not read if you haven't read the book or watched the movie.) This movie pained me so much, i decided to pain myself even more by writing reasons for every character why its so sad.
