Michael and four other children were murdered at a local family restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, 10 years ago. Charlie's father, Henry, designer of the restaurant's animatronic mascots, was suspected of murder, and consequently committed suicide by allowing an unknown animatronic to kill him.

Something isn't quite right. One change can effect everything in the world we know of the Five Nights at Freddy's novels. Even though things aren't as we know them to be, Charlie can get through anything... right?
