Synopsis
After an extermination leaves unseen consequences, Alastor begins to change.
At first, it's easy to miss-subtle lapses, restrained magic, a smile that lingers a moment too long. He insists nothing is wrong, maintaining his usual charm and control, even as something within him quietly unravels. Charlie senses the shift and refuses to look away, determined to help despite Alastor's growing resistance and Husk's uneasy understanding that some wounds are not meant to heal.
As the hotel settles into an unfamiliar quiet, roles begin to shift. Power is relinquished. Bonds are tested. The world starts to feel thinner, stranger-especially to Alastor himself, who seems increasingly detached from the rules that once governed him.
Off the Air is a slow-burn, character-driven story about denial and determination, about what it means to fight for someone who may already be letting go, and about the moments of connection that remain when certainty disappears.
