Zoro x Reader (Modern AU) 'I just wanna be the best' 'I just wanna be known for who I am' "When Will We Ever Be?"

Around the age of 13, every child receives a familiar. The familiar received is based on multiple factors, and ultimately decides the child's fate, for it gives the child whatever powers or skills it can. If, by chance, either it is celestial, a strong familiar, or the child is powerful using the familiar's power, the child has the option to attend a high end academy once old enough. These children become heroes or sidekicks. Most get average familiars, helpful with basic tasks and jobs, or occasionally more advanced skills such as engineering, design, and more. And well known in the world, there's the (L/N) family, known for it's particularly strong familiars. Until, a girl named (Y/N) changes that. Disclaimer: None of the characters are mine, but the plot and world are.

This is just a short scenario I wrote after reading a headcanon on tumblr.

In this world, there are a lot of things one cannot simply explain nor fully deny. One of these is the existence of the super natural. Another one is having your dobblegänger sit right in front of you during breakfast. Oh and that guy also just so happens to be the local university's cryptid. In the world where One Piece is a lost relic of the University simply known as Grandline, one can never be sure of what they end up witnessing. After all.... Universities are pretty much windows to the other dimensions. And you must always be careful when you thread upon that thin line.

Lin Mau doesn't care about much. As long as her businesses are running safely what else is there to care about? Sure scamming people and making shady deals is fun but it's not anything fancy. Life was at a standstill, she had everything. Until she encounters Charlotte Katakuri. Mau had never seen a man as attractive as him. She simply had to have him. With her luck, it would only take a week.

The picture used in the cover page is not mine. Either is One Piece. The girl dies but wakes up again, in a different world, in a different body, in a reality she knows. The girl's name in this story is Charlotte Cookie, who changes the story whether it be for the better or worse. Chloe Will and her siblings died horrible and sad deaths but as pirates they'll live on, wild, free, and shining bright. With no view of the modern world on them.

just wanted to throw out this idea for a devil fruit I brainstormed with AI because of my characters ability in my jjk fanfiction. I actually thought of this fruit before creating my OC and getting obsessed with jjk thinking that it would be such a cool fruit for the one piece world since there isn't enough top tier paramecia out there. Yeah... This just kind of turned into something else completely but can you blame me really?

Anyone can hide their feelings behind a smile though for one boy he's hiding his entire self behind a helmet and orange body paint. This is a different take on Charlotte Kato. I had only planned it to be short though it become something else as more words and feelings found there way onto the page.
