Charlotte Red is doing it again. And by it, she means that she has reverted back to her previous life at Stark Industries, albeit now with Steve closely by her side, her identity and involvement with the Avengers from the Battle of New York widely known, and the Tesseract far, far away. But the prophecy that was so vaguely alluded to by Thor and Loki before their departure from Earth has been playing heavily on her mind- and if there is anything Charlotte hates more than the Tesseract, it's the unknown. An unlikely opportunity arises for her to find out more. Because she's Charlotte Red, she takes it, but she can't help but feel she's only just begun to unravel a greater mystery. THIRD INSTALLMENT IN "COFFEE, COURAGE AND A CAPTAIN"

Charlotte Red went through World War Two, helped to create a super-soldier, fought HYDRA, lost Steve Rogers a day after she told him she loved him, and has now returned to the 21st century just in time for a certain God of Mischief to start an alien invasion with a weapon she thought was dead and gone. Charlotte hasn't even had time to get changed before she's whisked away by SHIELD and into a new adventure involving crazy gods, somebody she thought was dead, and an angry Tony Stark who doesn't understand why his Head Technician disappeared a few weeks before the Stark Expo. She's going to need several coffees before she even attempts to sort out this mess. SEQUEL TO "COFFEE, COURAGE AND A CAPTAIN"

Charlotte Red is eccentric at best, unconventional at worst. Working as the head technician of Stark Industries' R&D Department since she was sixteen, and with two PhD's under her belt already sets her apart from most other nineteen-year-olds- not that she enjoys standing out- and her work ethic only serves to further that divide. Her boss once described her as a bundle of caffeine that was doing it's best to present as human, and her family and friends- if she had any, that is- would most likely agree. Call it what you want- fate, destiny, or just sheer bad luck- but being transported back in time by unknown forces into a New York ravaged by World War Two was not part of her plan. Neither was making the acquaintance of two young men from Brooklyn by almost falling on top of them in an alleyway or any of the events that followed thereafter. With no way home, she quickly realises this is her one chance to be normal, to reinvent herself as who she truly wishes to be. But she's Charlotte Red, and her life was never supposed to be normal.
