It's been a year since Charlotte was a mermaid and is trying to redeem herself and fix her mistakes in Valencia, California. While trying to discover the meaning of friendship, she takes in a stray that saves her from a gang. What if, she's unconsiously drawn to a hidden cave one night and regains her tail, her old powers, and some new ones? Also found on Fanfiction.Net!

Leah (you) is back and ready for more mermaid adventures with her friends Cleo, Emma, and Rikki, and her boyfriend, Reed, also her brother, Lewis. The four original mermaids that's the way it's supposed to be, but what happens when two more girls soon to be mermaids join the pack, and one girl, gets in between Leah, and Reed. It could definitely be said that Cleo, Rikki, Emma and Bella have overcome the storm. Their friendship is now stronger and they've done so many things together. But just as summertime is in full swing, an unexpected cloud pops up. Charlotte returns to the coast. After having left out of shame from her defeat, Cleo thought she would be free from Charlotte for good. Charlotte promises that she has turned over a new leaf and is simply visiting the town before going off to college in the fall. But of course, Charlotte actually wants revenge, at any cost. Having been researching Mako Island in the year she's been gone, she is determined to regain her mermaid powers. When she discovers the moon pool is damaged (see season 3 finale), Charlotte makes an alliance with an old foe of the mermaids to regain her tail and defeat them. Doris is a "regular" girl who believed in the supernatural. She was hanging with her friends only to find out something about herself. She is 16. Cleo is 15 almost 16. Emma and Rikki is 16.
