Julian comes from the wealthiest family in the province (his family probably owns the sugar mills or the biggest land estates). He was the boy every girl wanted, but he only ever had eyes for Luna. When they were younger, he offered to pay for her tuition or take her with him to study abroad. Luna, being proud and afraid that she would just be "the rich guy's girlfriend" if she failed at her own dreams, broke his heart and ran away to the city. He is now the CEO of his family's business. He's successful, polished, and still single. When Luna sees him, she feels even more like a "failure" because she hasn't achieved anything, while he has everything.
