Kimiko knows she misses her life back in Tokyo, but she also does not want to leave behind all the friends she has at the temple, either. Kimiko 'Tomye' is just having a normal morning in hers and her roommate, Jermaine Rhynch's, apartment when she suddenly sees an envelope at her doorstep from a mysterious sender. it entails information about the sender, whoever they were, having her father as their hostage. she is also told to find one Mr. Raimundo Pedrosa, whom she finds and meets in a neighborhood known to all New York residents as the slums. needless to say, she's pretty hesitant to trust him. actually, the two of them are both really hesitant to trust one another, even after she tells him that whoever has her father also has his youngest sister. turns out he's a former Interpol agent who resigned from the force out of guilt of what he'd done to his best friend on the force, and her real last name is not 'Tomye', but 'Tohomiko', and she's the daughter of (one of) the richest CEOs from the entire continent of Asia as well as the heir to the company. they still need to find a way to save Kimiko's father and Raimundo's youngest sister. only problem with their need to save their loved ones is that they can't seem to trust one another enough to team up, what with all the secrets that the two of them both keep from one another. will they find a way to trust one another in the long run of the dangerous game with which they're being forced by their unknown enemy to play along? how would their friends react to their joint situation should they find out about it? and most importantly of all, just who is the unknown enemy holding Kimiko's father and Raimundo's kid sister for ransom?

the xiaolin dragons of lightning, light, steel, darkness and of course, ice have recently come to Omi, Ping Pong, Clay, Raimundo, and Kimiko's new xiaolin temple entrusted to them by Princess Kaila of the Thousand-Layer Mountain. the dragon of steel in particular turns out to be a familiar old friend of the dragons from before Ping Pong became a part of the team. then, to everyone's surprise, there is actually a mysterious new eleventh xiaolin dragon who no one knows what his element is. is he really for real, or is he much too good to be true? there's also the fact that the dragon of lightning used to date Raimundo and the dragon of ice is related to Kimiko. yes, you read this description right. the dragons of fire and ice are related to one another.

It all started when a strange object known as Shen gong wu chose me to be his master. Through him, I met young monks, Jack Spicer and Chase Young. If I hadn't found him, would everything have turned out differently?

in this fanfiction, a new dragon warrior is coming to the temple under the name of Deacon Weston from Sante Fe, New Mexico in the US of A. the only true problem with Deacon is his own attitude towards the other monks when he turns out to be nothing but a rich S-O-B, who cannot take responsibility for his actions or the words that come out of his mouth worth beans. he also happens to let even Jack Spicer, the whiner, win a xiaolin showdown against him just for the sake of keeping his pants clean as a whistle. as the old saying goes, 'how can you expect to win or even succeed if you're afraid to get a little down and dirty?' the other monks must school their newest compatriot in the ways of the xiaolin before he costs them every last one of their future victories against the Heylin forces and ruins every xiaolin showdown for them all from that point forward.

This is my first time doing a Xiaolin Showdown story AU. Jack Spicer and Jackie Spicer are twins also Jackie Spicer is blind but can hear her enemies and her opponents nearby if they are close by. Light Young is Chase Young's adopted younger sister and she is very different from her brother and like helping her friends and she is half blind also Light is a half Nepilim and half human hybrid. Night Sky is ageless so he can't age at all but he can change into any forms and sometimes he likes to stay in his normal form. Rajah could not for the life of her understand how Jack could continue to let himself be humiliated, ridiculed and just plain abused by a malicious, and quite frank, narcissistic character like Chase.
