Honestly, I've just had constant thoughts about growing swirling around in my mind, so I wrote a short story based on one of my favorite childhood songs. I wasn't planning on writing anything until I finished "We'll Carry On" (#spon) but this was stuck in my head and I had to write it down. It really isn't about much. In which I write short stories, each story inspired by a single song, which will be indicated in the title of the chapter. Each chapter is one story, which have absolutely no relation to each other and can be read seperately. Don't hesitate to comment with songs and ideas. 16-year-old Raegan goes to carnival with her close guy friend, expecting to just go on a few rides and eat some cotton candy. She wants to maybe try a few games to test her luck and just overall have fun. Together, they enter the "Fun house" and laugh at the oddly shaped mirrors that make them look hilarious. After a while in the fun house, they realize that the whole time they were in there, no one else was in there. Only them. They go to leave, and when the open the door.. the carnival is.. quite different. They had entered a whole new world. An evil one, perhaps.

Inspired by the song. Description in third person: Dinah Jane and Lauren are best friends. They have been since they were fifteen and sixteen. And then one day, Dinah goes missing, and everyone presumes she's dead. But Lauren thinks differently. Dinah is out there somewhere, she can feel it. She just has to find her.

It doesn't matter whether the stories you read are true or not. Because somewhere, somehow, someplace, at some time, they happened. Word to word. Emotion to emotion. Place to place. This one did too. Or perhaps, it didn't. I'll leave it up to you to decide.

Stella is an 18 year old college student, going to school to be a teacher. She doesn't want to, though. Her real dream is to be a performer, but her mom told her that it wasn't practical.
