After Monarc's time-travel trip in the episode Evolution, a meager akuma ends up in an alternate reality where miraculous did not exist. In this reality, Marinette is suffering from a recent breakup and never imagined she would lose control to an unknown magic. Determined for revenge, she doesn't care if it's necessary to destroy her reality or even space-time to get what she wants.
