Pelage de Coton n'a jamais vraiment trouvé sa place parmi les siens. Guerrier discret, souvent ignoré, il vit dans l'ombre de son frère, admiré de tous. Pourtant, lorsque des rêves troublants commencent à le hanter, il comprend que quelque chose est en train de changer. Très vite, une vérité inquiétante s'impose : les clans pourraient ne pas survivre à cet hiver. Guidé par une prophétie venue du Clan des Étoiles, Pelage de Coton devra affronter ses peurs, ses doutes... et un choix impossible. Faut-il rester et risquer l'extinction, ou partir vers un territoire perdu? Entre loyauté, amour et destin, une décision devra être prise. Et cette fois, l'erreur n'est pas permise. ⸻ Cette fanfiction est inspirée de l'univers de La Guerre des Clans, créé par Erin Hunter, dont les droits appartiennent à leurs auteurs, tandis que les personnages et l'intrigue présentés ici sont originaux et propres à cette histoire.

[Après le Tome 1 "Malédiction", du Cycle 3] Les Clans vont être engouffrés dans la Mauvaise Saison, ce qui semble ralentir le projet de Renouveau d'Esprit de l'Écureuil. Étoile Sanglante a complètement adopté sa possession, son comportement perturbe tout le monde, et Spirale, plus instable que jamais, les pousse à trouver un lieu de communication avec le Clan des Étoiles. La Forêt Sombre semble de plus en plus complice avec le Clan de la Plaine... La future guérisseuse, Nuage de Lys s'abandonne à sa passion, tandis que sa famille se fragilise et sa sœur "maudite" semble sombrer. L'analyste, Nuage d'Ancolie se doit de croire en elle, quand ses erreurs comme ses victoires peuvent causer un tournant définitif pour le Clan de la Plaine. Ces deux jeunes esprits réussiront-elles à aider leur Clan ou succomberont-elle à sa mélancolie ? //!\ Certains personnages dans cette oeuvre ne m'appartiennent pas, ils appartiennent à Erin Hunter.
