After discussing it all summer, Will and Nico decide to finally try a mortal highschool. So they go off to live with Naomi (Will's mom) for the next school year. Prepare for fluff, monsters, and a little bit of angst. *** Okay, I'm putting Will and Nico in the same grade. For a few reasons. Mainly plot and simplicity. We know Nico's birthday is January 28. And we don't know when Will's birthday is. But I think he turns 16 between the hidden oracle and tower of Nero? Idk I haven't finished TOA yet. Either way, they'd be a year diffrent in September but... I don't really have any justification actually. Oh well? Will hasn't been to school since he started camp around his early teen years (probably. He gets to camp at 10 canon). And Nico... Yeah. Anyways. In one hypothetical year, they both decide to not stay at camp for all year, and go to a Mortal high school. Will tells Kayla to call for anything. Kayla is half-"I got this" and half-"DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME, WILL!" And yeah. 2 very powerful demigods. One of whom is a child of the big 3. And one of which who isnt the best fighter? A dangerous Greek monster is out there causing chaos - the Clazmonian Sow. No Greek hero has ever beaten it. Well, except Percy in the battle of Manhattan, but that's exactly why they sent him as well. The boar's angry girlfriend is back, and she's mega furious at being whacked and killed by statues activated by one specific demigod. But she can't find him, since she escaped Tartarus to West Virginia, so she's satisfying herself by causing chaos there. The residents are confused and shocked - and some of them can see through the Mist to what it actually is. They're Luxen, and they're covering up the chaos well, telling good lies and keeping the normal residents believing it isn't a supernatural pig monster. Then the three demigods arrive, keeping their identities well hidden. That is, until they meet the Luxen. More accurately, until one sea boy meets one smug, kinda hot alien.
