After her first year of college, Daphnie Baker comes home to her sister's graduation expecting it to be like most summers but after her dad books them a house at Lake Wanitka, she is excited to go and spend time with her family. She doesn't expect to fall in love with her dad's arch enemy Jimmy Murtagh's son Daniel. If she dates him, this could ruin the perfect summer she wanted, but she can't resist his charm and kindness.

Mark Baker has always felt like the odd one out in his school and large family. All he wants is someone who understands him and doesn't mind his weird obsession with frogs. That's when the curly-haired boy meets Elijah Cameran, who might just be the boy who actually understands him. As the two grow closer, Mark feels less alone and Elijah realizes he needed Mark too. At the beginning of the first 'Cheaper by the Dozen' movie Charlie doesn't want to move and to be fair none of the Bakers do but what if Charlie runs away and returns 5 years later when the whole family are returning to lake Winnetka with a whole new life? Charlie was never with Beth when they lived in Midland. All characters will be aged a tiny bit differently to what they might be in the actual movies but all the Baker and Murtaugh family will be used in my story.
