Valiant Bear, llega a mudarse a Care-a-lot gracias a su nuevo amigo Oopsy Bear. Se reencuentra con un viejo amigo: Grumpy Bear, quien se siente avergonzado y le da remordimiento en su conciencia. Lo que no esperaba era que uno de los ositos que mejor impresión tuvo de Valiant Bear, fue su mejor amigo; Funshine Bear, uno de los ositos que mayor esfuerzo hacía para que Valiant encajará en grupo. Aunque con la mayoría de ositos de Care-a-lot, lástimosamente, no se podía decir lo mismo, especialmente con 4 de ellos. ¿Valiant logrará encajar en Care-a-lot? ¿Las malas tensiones quedarán en el pasado? ¿Por qué nunca había estado en Care-a-lot? ¿Qué la hizó aceptar ir a vivir ahí? ¿Por qué causó tanto rechazo en la mayoría? ¿Qué tanto chisme hay con respecto a Funshine? Cheer Bear breaks the relic which assists in the creation of a Care Bear. Will regurgitated memories hinder her as she ventures into the Colour Caverns to obtain the new Stone? Care Bears: The Rainbow Stone, reimagined for an older audience. Care Bears does not belong to me! The events in this fic are NOT meant to be a transcript of the show, but an alternative take on the story & themes presented. Sidenote: I have headcanons for the bears' appearances (accessories and physical features) which make several mentions.

In this story, Cheer and Grumpy have adopted a 10-year-old bear cub named Cloudstream Bear. They promised to care for her as their own and provide a loving home. One day, Cloudsky, as she likes to be called, introduced her new friends. Her friends included R Bear, Tulpa Bear, Chronicle Bear, Xenon Bear, TON-620 Bear, Black Abyssal Bear, Creme Legion Bear, and Asteroid Bear. Among her friends were two females, Lucid Phoenix Bear, and Flurryheart. Together, Cloudsky's friends decided to create a pure evil form of Cloudsky named, Starlight CloudNebula Bear. However, Cheer and Grumpy soon learn that they need to find a gem to defeat Starlight CloudNebula Bear. Thus, begins their quest to find the gem and finish the final battle. The story is not only about love, family, and friendship, but also about bravery, loyalty, and determination. Will Cheer and Grumpy be able to keep their promise to protect Cloudsky and defeat the evil that was created? Only time will tell.,
