Wheatley and Chell meet again in a new light in a world where they can start their lives all over, but not without confronting their pasts again. Chell can't determine the reason why she even cares about him, and Wheatley is scared that she hates him. This isn't a ship fic, I really just want to see both of them heal.

Chell's freedom was soon to be short lived. She was hoping that she could finally be rid of that place but it seems her help was needed once more. Would she be able to save Aperture once and for all?

Twenty-two year old Wendy Varus has no idea how she is going to pay off her tuition fees, especially when she has no experience in any field or how to do anything besides gymnastics and running track. But when she's given a pamphlet to be a test subject for the grand opening of Aperture Science Laboratories,where they don't ask questions or require anything of you, she thought it was the perfect opportunity for her. They pay 40 dollars per test she does and ended when summer was over which worked out well for her to continue her studies. However once she warily signed up for the 16 week program that they had where they have her doing insane puzzles and dangerous tasks, she slowly starts to believe that this sketchy place was more than she bargained for.

A year and a half after the events of Portal 2, Wheatly is hit by an astroid and crashes into Chell's back yard. Chell and Wheatly have to face each other once again. Chell ran, her boots pounding against the catwalk below her. Her heart beat echoed in her ears as she wove her way around the corners, trying to keep up with the tall, gangly man named Wheatley in front of her. Wheatley wasn't exactly running. He was more skidding along and trying not to fall over.

After surviving her battle with GLaDOS, Chell wakes in Aperture Science and makes another escape attempt. Meanwhile, after his ordeals through City 17, Gordon wakes at White Forest and tries to recover the Borealis and Judith Mossman... Or at least, that was the plan. The unexpected throws Chell, Gordon, Alyx, and Barney down paths toward inevitable consequences.

She didn't know what to do since she was freed by GLaDOS. She had her freedom, but after all that, she didn't know what she could do.... she only walked but she didn't know where to go.
