"A voice echoed. He didn't know where he was, and what was going on. He tried opening his eyes, but all he saw was a hazey white light, and a black outline of two figures over him. They moved over him, holding objects, and moving around his right side. There wasnt any pain, he didn't feel a thing. It was strange, he felt like he should feel something, but he didn't. A small tingle could be felt on his arm though." William was one of the many unlucky few who were in the Apeture Science Lab. He managed to escape, parts of him that weren't how they were when he came. He found a small town, and worked in the wheat fields , adapting the name Wheatley. After adventuring deeper in the wheat fields, Wheatley had found a small shack. It has spat out a woman in an orange jumpsuit, and he knew exactly where she came from.

Am I being too vague? I despise you. I loathe you. You arrogant, smugly quiet, awful jumpsuited monster of a woman.

𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺!} [] ~~~~~~~~~~~ ⊚ ~~~~~~~~~~~ [] After voluntarily shutting Herself down, Chell discovers two androids lurking around GLaDOS' chamber. When she recognized the voice of one of the androids, Chell jolts out of Aperture, with the androids following behind her. The three struggle to adapt in a desolate town. Chaos unfolds as she discovers how little memory her old companion has of the incident that caused her so much pain.

Wheatley is a moron. He truly is, no matter how much he denied it. And he knows because only a moron would betray their only friend the second they got the chance to. When he desperately wants a second chance, an opportunity to apologize to the lady and right his wrongs he gets more than he asked for when GLaDOS turns him into a human...

"Nightmares eh? All full of...angry, scary things. Brilliant." A core by the name of Wheatley is unlike the others. He befriended a test subject, took over GLaDOS and put her in a potato battery, got portal-ed to space, and became a human. Again. Yes, you heard correctly ladies and gentlemen, a robot personality was once a human, stripped of their bodies and plugged into a computer. Fun stuff, huh? Well, much like many humans, Wheatley gets nightmares. But not just any regular "Oh no, scary stuff!" type of nightmares, these are...special. Have you ever had a dream where you couldn't tell if it really happened or not? Imagine that as a nightmare. Scary stuff. Along with the fright of such things, he usually has them about his best friend Chell dying, with his own death soon approaching after. Not the sort of things you would think a happy, silly, child-like grown man to have. [ Rated #21 in the Portal tag. I'm honored and impressed, thank you all so much for the continued interest. ]

Wheatley successfully gets Chell out without getting corrupted with power. The elevator breaks down because GLaDOS soon gets back in control. Humanoid AU, Chell x Wheatley, Chelley.

Against her better judgement, Chell jumps back into peril for someone she used to call a friend. However, when she finds him, he's different. Much different... and now she's somehow stuck teaching him how to be human. - NEW FIC FOR A DEAD FANBASE TT_TT The first few parts probably require at least having seen the end of Portal 2! The ending of the game is linked within the introduction. This is forever one of my favorite things, and my passion for this game has remained the same since I discovered it. Guys, I cannot stress how much I want feedback on this as I've never done a oneshot before (THE SHIP-SWAP CHALLENGE DID NOT COUNT I S2G) and I don't care what kind of feedback it is. I don't care if you say good or bad or if you give me constructive criticism (Gladys-not-glados.)Just, please, pretty please, give me feedback. Chell is seemingly just like the other girls in [insert subject's hometown here] but, she is much different than everyone else. One day, her mom calls her down and tells her there's someone at the door for her. It all goes downhill from here.
