Savannah Collins had been best friends with Dakota, Alex, Chelsea, and Tanner since she was a teenager. Even after she graduated college and moved away she stayed in close contact with them. She had been insanely proud of all of their accomplishments and it was no surprise that the boys continued hunting down the paranormal. However, she was very surprised when Dakota showed up at her front door to pitch his new show idea and wanted Savannah to come along for the ride. Of course, she said yes, she would have done anything for her friends. However not only will Savannah have to fight the paralyzing fear of staying in haunted locations on her own, but she will also have to fight some old feelings that are rapidly bubbling to the surface again.

Harley Rhodes was never one for attention, she liked to be behind the scenes. Never straying too far into the spotlight. Her sister Noah, was the complete opposite, they balanced each other out perfectly. While one stayed behind the camera and computer screen, the other was the face of their channel. "Beyond the Unknown" was the most popular female lead ghost hunting channel on YouTube, people loved the dynamic the sisters had. Always bickering, correcting each other, and having each other's backs. Harley liked the way things were, changes scared her. But sometimes change is inevitable, for the sisters change was coming fast. Alex liked being in front of the camera, he liked hunting ghosts, and he loved the work he did. But the universe is a bitch, "Destination Fear", the show his friends and he created gets canceled they have to find a home on YouTube. Change is inevitable for Alex and Harley. The two will just have to learn to adapt no matter how hard it is.

Madison Laden is the 13 year old little sister of Chelsea and Dakota Laden and she has been like a little sister to Alex and Tanner since she was born. After much persuasion of their parents, Madison convinces them to let her tag along with Dakota and the others on the road trip as long as she completes her school work online and doesn't fall behind. Follow along as they go on the road and all the haunted locations they go to (and maybe some cute sappy stuff as well). FYI: Madison's nickname is Madi
