After a disappointing penalty shootout at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, when European giants Lyon offer her a contract for the 2021/2022 season, Val instantly took up the opportunity. Despite not knowing a word of French, she left Manchester, the place she had grown to call home, and took a risk, moving across Europe, to begin at a new club. At Lyon, the usually lovable Val, clashes with one of her new teammates. At first, their disagreements reflect onto the game, with their performances being less than decent. But when they find out that they undoubtedly have a midfield connection on the pitch, they must put aside their grudges and work together in order to benefit the team. What will come out of their relationship, will they be able to finish the season without any drama? As Valentine adjusts to living in Lyon, new relationships develop and she is forced to come face to face with her inner conflicts, which have been there since she was twelve years old. She almost reaches a breaking point, with discoveries about herself threatening to expose the vulnerable yet authentic side of her, the side she has spent so long trying to hide. Will the struggles of her past come back to haunt her, or will she be able to get over all the insecurities that have formed since the accident? a Danielle van de Donk story.

A Gooner at heart, Lexa grew up playing for the red side of North London, but after a nearly two-season ending injury, she was loaned out to Spanish team Levante to aid her return. Lexa makes the decision to return home to England when she learns of her mother's breast cancer diagnosis, and going back to Arsenal brings a bittersweet feeling full of sentiment, yet she's not so sure whether she really wants to be there. Amidst her personal chaos, spending most of her time at the hospital and perhaps missing an ex a little too much, she also has to deal with the pressure that comes with playing professionally. Ever since she was little she planned on becoming a coach after her retirement, so she starts a course and meets a player who plays for a rival team. They click instantly, and these weekly lessons soon start to become her escape from reality in an attempt to relieve the stifling feeling she feels trapped with whenever she steps onto a football pitch. Juggling her family, football and now coaching life starts to get difficult, and she begins to question the world around her, especially when unwanted feelings start to get involved. She has never been one for decision making, so what happens when she has to choose between two? And if it's not the right one, will she ever be able to get the other back? a Guro Reiten story.

Sometimes to feel comfortable, one must experience a little discomfort and for Eva Valtersen, that was exactly what she needed. After being recruited in the Summer of 2021, the 21-year-old Norwegian midfielder decided to leave the comfort of her home country and make the move to her dream club in England, Manchester City. At City, Eva soon settles, finding new routines and traditions that fit around the noise in her head, and hurt in her heart. Through newfound friendships with Hayley Raso, Georgia Stanway and Keira Walsh, as well as frequent international breaks and tournaments with her best friends, Ingrid Engen, Guro Reiten, and Frida Maanum, Eva finds her supposed peace. In the mean time, Eva is there for Ingrid, while she is developing her own romance with the Spanish centre back, Mapi Leon, as she lives her life in Barcelona.
