But here's the thing, there's no such thing as female Slayers, and her last name suggests that she a descendant of one of the most infamous and ruthless Slayer families in American history, a family that was killed off decades ago. Nyxia doesn't know that she's a Slayer, and she has no knowledge that she's a walking impossibility. Despite what all other Vampires would've done, which is kill her on sight, Gerard goes against unspoken and ancient laws and takes her under his wing, vowing to protect her from the Ordinem, making a promise that most wouldn't dare to make. After all, she's the only one who can help him get what he's desired since that horrible night. Gerard has no idea that Nyxia will change his and his friends' lives in ways no one could have fathomed. And Nyxia has no idea what she is meant to be in this new and dangerous world that she's been dragged into. But as the two begin to fall for each other, which should be impossible, they dig themselves deeper into a grave that may be impossible to escape. Two walking impossibilities, a forbidden love.
