A divorced couple, Nathan and Ella Luke, confront their unresolved feelings when Nathan, a talented pianist and NYPD detective, is diagnosed with terminal cancer. With their young son Milo caught in the crossfire, the estranged parents are forced to present a united front for his sake. As Nathan grapples with his impending death, he becomes wary of Ella's new boyfriend, Victor Roy, whom he views as a potential replacement. However, as tensions rise and Nathan's health declines, an unexpected alliance forms between the two men, driven by their shared devotion to Milo. In a poignant journey of forgiveness and acceptance, Nathan must confront his deepest fears and ultimately come to terms with the legacy he will leave behind, questioning whether he can allow Victor to step into the fatherly role he may no longer fulfill. Will Nathan find peace before it's too late? If anyone sees this story being plagiarized by someone else, please send me a quick message as soon as possible. We go back to silently watching the clouds. I must have dozed off a bit because I woke to Ed cradling me like a baby and I was more than happy to stay pressed up against his chest, listening to his heart beat. "Ed," I admired his chiseled features. He was so beautiful, so tanned, so god-like, so perfect. "Yes, Sweetheart?" His eyes were spilling over with more love than I could hold in my two arms. "Don't forget me when I'm gone." I whispered. I had to watch as he cried again. Pain twisted up his face into an agonized expression. It was my turn to be strong. I brushed my thumb across his cheek, wiping away the salty tears. He held his hand over mine, keeping my hand on his beautiful face. "Lainie... I've met an angel. I've held an angel... that's not something I could ever forget."

"You have Leukemia. It's a type of cancer. With the right treatments, we might be able to rid your body of it. The success rate in children your age is around 76 percent. We did catch it pretty late though." The doctor said. I swallowed. I felt a tear slip down my face. Then rage filled me. I jumped up and hit the doctor in chest, not enough to hurt, just enough to get the feelings out. The tears were flowing freely now. I kicked the examination table and the other chairs in the room, I threw papers from the desk onto the floor, and finally I threw the door open and ran through the hallways, knowing my mother and the doctor were chasing after me. I turned a corner and ran into the lobby. A few people stared at me, and I ran outside, not caring where I was headed. I just had to escape this. But the harsh reality was that I couldn't escape it. I was dying.

Synopsis: The gamble factor for creating cellular breakdown in the lungs among smokers is 25% more prominent than those individuals that don't smoke. Stopping smoking is no simple undertaking. Be that as it may, there is an overflow of help and backing alongside smoking end items to assist you with succeeding. There are a different gamble factors that are connected to cellular breakdown in the lungs. The most widely recognized referred to causes are as per the following: Cigarette Smoking Cigarette smoking is likely the most firmly related connection to creating cellular breakdown in the lungs. An individual who smokes two packs or a greater amount of cigarettes each day has a one out of seven possibility creating cellular breakdown in the lungs. Those that smoke one bunch of cigarettes each day have a 25 times more noteworthy possibility creating cellular breakdown in the lungs than a non-smoker. Likewise, those individuals that smoke a line or stogie have a five times more prominent possibility creating cellular breakdown in the lungs than a non-smoker. The gamble of creating cellular breakdown in the lungs increments with the quantity of cigarettes smoked over your lifetime. Cigarette smoking harms the cells in your lungs. The second you quit smoking, your lungs start mending themselves, supplanting harmed cells with solid, typical cells. Your gamble of creating cellular breakdown in the lungs starts diminishing very quickly when you quit smoking. Each year that you don't smoke, your possibilities creating cellular breakdown in the lungs drop further. By the fifteenth year, your possibilities creating cellular breakdown in the lungs are about equivalent to those of a never smoked. individual. Handed-down cigarette smoke Otherwise called uninvolved smoking, individuals presented to handed-down cigarette smoke consistently will have a higher gamble of creating cellular breakdown in the lungs, regardless of whether they smoke themselves.
