A series of silly little one shots while I try to beat my current writers block. Hope you enjoy. Each individual TW will be placed as the chapters go along. Detective Angela Lopez. Sergeant Lucy Lopez. Married before Celina even started the academy. Closing cases, protecting scenes, but most importantly, protecting themselves. Nobody really knew they were married. To them it was just Detective Angela Lopez, and Sergeant Lucy Chen, two women closer than best friends should be, but nobody minded them. And everybody supported them. So, when Angela and Lucy had a fight ending in screaming, slammed doors, and the cold shoulder they thought would never end, Lucy had to escape her ever ending pressure. Or the fear. And the army was her escape. But she didn't tell Angela. Until Angela woke up, never hearing Lucy's breath. Never hearing Lucy's goodbye. This story is about their time apart, and shielding their grief from the station. And when an officer with a flag landed on their doorstep and the words "Killed in action." Left their mouth. Angela was almost done for, almost. She relapsed, she spiralled, and she definitely should not have been going in to work. But Lucy Chen, Sergeant Lucy Lopez, she wasn't really dead. Was she? Did she ever really deploy, or was it an undercover operation to drugs being sold overseas without anyone knowing? Was Lucy temporarily working with the FBI? Or was Lucy really dead?
