Charles Xavier has been through too much. After losing his mobility after the events of the mission in Cuba, he's a shell of the man he used to be. Finding release in alcohol, he tries to forget all of what he has lost. He tries to move on with his new, broken family. But one man stands in the way of his happiness- the same man who took it away to begin with and broke his family. The same man who had caused Charles to become paralyzed from the waist down- Erik Lehnsherr. Erik has been racked with guilt ever since he had injured Charles- but he doesn't know how bad it is. Not until he runs into the man when they're both trying to rescue a mutant, and he sees that Charles is confined to a wheel chair.

After Michael Fassbender gets a dream featuring his and James McAvoy's characters, the two actors realize they have Charles and Erik's mutation. They have to learn how to control their new powers, hide them from others, film their movie, and get their abilities back to their characters before the worst comes and destroys everything. Idk so far this is a sad rewrite of the beach divorce, and a version of the beach divorce where Erik never kills Shaw - a happy alternative. And Cherik deserved a happy ending None of the characters belong to me, they belong to marvel, anyway Enjoy :)

Charles has made a lot of questionable decisions in his life. Not telling Erik that they have a son is probably somewhere near the top of the list. For ten years, it works. Danny is Charles's son, his mother died when he was young, and no one has any reason to question it. Then Danny starts looking less like Charles and increasingly like someone Erik sees every time he looks in a mirror. The mutation really doesn't help. Or: Charles Xavier successfully hides Erik's son from him for ten years and then discovers, somewhat belatedly, that genetics do not care about his elaborate cover story.

This is a sequel to Taming the Wild. Charles and Erik are a happy couple, although they still have to keep the true nature of their relationship a secret - gay mutants are not always welcomed with open arms in the old times, especially if they're teaching children. Despite that inconvenience Charles and Erik are happy and very much in love. They still have to come up with a clever way to explain things to Peter and Wanda who are curious about the changes they've sensed recently in the dynamics between Charles and their daddy. Charles is already running his special school with help from Erik, Hank, Moira, Raven and a few others. They have new students but Charles and Erik regularly travel to recruit more. This doesn't always go without a few bumps on the road. Meanwhile Raven is not so sure if the quiet monotonous life of a schoolteacher is cut out for her. She finds herself daydreaming of her previous adventures and the feeling of fulfillment they brought to her, increasingly. This doesn't go unnoticed by Hank who doesn't have the courage to ask her to stay even if his heart is breaking at the prospect of her leaving them. New characters appear. Some jealous!Erik because who doesn't want to see that, right? Also mutants cannot hide their existence forever. Slowly the word about mutants is beginning to spread and that on itself would cause considerable unrest among most humans.
