Finding release in alcohol, he tries to forget all of what he has lost. He tries to move on with his new, broken family. But one man stands in the way of his happiness- the same man who took it away to begin with and broke his family. The same man who had caused Charles to become paralyzed from the waist down- Erik Lehnsherr. Erik has been racked with guilt ever since he had injured Charles- but he doesn't know how bad it is. He had seemed lonely, in a sense. But who knew he would make such an impact on my family. I was struck by Erik's car and I forgave him, it wasn't his fault. He offered me a place to stay till I got the hang of my new life style, an offer I couldn't decline. I found that they were rather poor and since I came from a sickeningly rich family, I decided to pay for a few things. But who knew he would make such an impact on my life. When Erik hits Charles while driving home to his two children, Peter and Wanda, he is filled with guilt. Charles, being the person he is, forgave him. Main story line it's the relationship between father and son. (Erik and Peter) following the movies. Peter decides to stay at the mansion and to be part of the X-men. Mostly because he is planning on telling Erik that: "Yo, you my father" even though Peter never seems to actually do it. It also concentrates on Erik and Charles's relationships moving forward, they both in denial. So there is that. Erik was about to leave but seems obligated to stay for there is a new threat coming their way. And of course the younger X-men generation as a group. Kurt it's a cinnamon roll that it's terrified of Warren (Angel). While Angel it's the usual bad boy (he kinda hates Kurt, or strong feelings) Jean grey being an extreme introvert happy to be surrounded by people. Scott....it's Scott. Peter being the happy playful extrovert puppy with a dark past. Ororo being the intense badass independent friend with trust issues but somehow this group of teens got to her. This is a sequel to Taming the Wild. Charles and Erik are a happy couple, although they still have to keep the true nature of their relationship a secret - gay mutants are not always welcomed with open arms in the old times, especially if they're teaching children. Despite that inconvenience Charles and Erik are happy and very much in love. They still have to come up with a clever way to explain things to Peter and Wanda who are curious about the changes they've sensed recently in the dynamics between Charles and their daddy. Charles is already running his special school with help from Erik, Hank, Moira, Raven and a few others. They have new students but Charles and Erik regularly travel to recruit more. This doesn't always go without a few bumps on the road. Meanwhile Raven is not so sure if the quiet monotonous life of a schoolteacher is cut out for her. She finds herself daydreaming of her previous adventures and the feeling of fulfillment they brought to her, increasingly. This doesn't go unnoticed by Hank who doesn't have the courage to ask her to stay even if his heart is breaking at the prospect of her leaving them. New characters appear. Some jealous!Erik because who doesn't want to see that, right? Also mutants cannot hide their existence forever. Slowly the word about mutants is beginning to spread and that on itself would cause considerable unrest among most humans.
