This book is about a group of friends. Well actually two groups of friends. The first group were all teenagers. A new drug came out called Gattex. All the kids were using it. Expecially this group of kids. Every night they got together and used it. It wasn't something you smoked, You injected it into your skin. It may sound weird. But these kids liked it. They thought it was like smoking weed or spice. But after a while one batch went wrong and they happened to get it starting a new infection. That was spread by biting others. It only took 15 seconds for people to turn. People called them many things. Walkers, Dead, Walking Dead, some even thought they were still human. Not accepting the fact they were dead and killing others. The second group were also friends. But in there early 20's. They never heard of the drug until the outburst began. It spread surprisingly fast. Their house was in the forest. The people, I mean The walkers rarely came out there. When They needed food they ran into town quickly.
