Carlos never wanted to be bad. In fact, if he hadn't been born as the son of Cruella De Vil, he would've just been a normal kid. But he wasn't. He was in the Isles of the lost, the land of the trouble makers and misfits. Unfortunately, that's just not where he belongs. He tries his best to be like the others, he really does. It's just not enough. Until he meets the daughter of the Cheshire Cat, the other misfit. At least she's somewhat like her parent: definitely crazy, and seriously good at shapeshifting. She's just frowned upon by the society because she uses most of her powers for good and isn't really considered a villain.
They decide they've really had enough of it all when they're forced to do something so evil, they just can't do it.
So they run away, dodging the villains trying to arrest them and have their fun with them because they failed.
Once the barrier of the Isle of the Lost is broken by Mal, Evie, and Jay, Carlos De Vil and Cress Cheshire escape and hide in the world of the good people. They disguise themselves to blend in, but are forced into the school with the very kids they'd been trying to avoid, which leads to the important question:
How will they avoid being caught by the people they've grown up with?
