After the loss of their mother, Kitty and Alice's relationship becomes strained. Mix in a boy that infatuates both, and a hidden world under their beloved willow tree- they are near the point of never speaking again. All Kitty wanted was some sense of normalcy. But Kitty has gained new powers from the hidden world. This causes her to smile-something she hadn't done since she was a child- and disappear, reappearing in the place she last thought of. Then something both amazing and awful happens. Kitty finds the truth about her and Alice's mother, and about the curse she was tied to- set to destroy their newly found world. With the help of the boy and his friends, Kitty is determined to save her family, her willow, and herself from destruction.

It all started with a white rabbit. Alice has always wanted to be normal. Her mother disappeared when Alice was 12, leaving a note behind with one word- Wonderland. Alice feared becoming her mother- an insane woman who is condemned to a life in an asylum filled with uncertainty. Dreams plague her every night of a strange world.
