I've done this in my Kakavege Oneshot series but I kinda had a huge realization that they were just headcannons. Sooo I decided to make them official by listing them here.

Goku Black isn't dead and is in hiding hoping for zamasu to show up. Zamasu is from a different universe so it's complicated but for a deaty it's easy. Black is trying to mask his energy on earth so that the mortals won't sense his presence. He's living far off in the woods in the house where grandpa Gohan raised Goku.
