Jay came home from Afghanistan less than a year ago, shortly before his mother died. To be honest, he never really came home though. Being back in Chicago is hell, and while he refuses to talk or seek help, he doesn't care enough to hide it from anyone. When Hailey meets Jay on a drunk night out, she doesn't think she'll ever see him again. She doesn't want to, either. She likes to keep to herself. She doesn't know his past, and he doesn't know hers. She doesn't know how much he's struggling. And little does she know he's Will Halstead's younger brother... A call, a warehouse on fire; sometimes it takes very little to turn people's lives upside down, and this is one of those cases. If the fire, with the same people, had happened two blocks away, the life of 51 would have continued quietly. Jamie Severide is Kelly Severide's twin sister. Jamie, Kelly and Matt Casey all went to the academy together. Jamie moved away to Las Angles and had a girl called Alexandra but she gets called Alex. Alex is now 5 and they are moving back to Chicago. Matt and Kelly don't know that Jamie is coming back and she is going to surprise them. Jamie has always had feelings for Matt but never thought he felt the same but will he?

It's Katrina Harts first day at firehouse 51. Hart Grew up alongside a family of first responders and that's why she grew up to be a paramedic. Katrina is the new PIC ( Paramedic In Charge) after Gabby Dawson left, Katrina already knew Kelly Severide and Stella Kid. Kelly and Katrina went to academy with each other but little does he know his old crush is going to show up and work alongside him. Katrina and Stella met at the first responders gala. Katrina Hart is played by Gabrielle Moses I kept Erin Lindsay in it as I really love her
