Joshua finds a smell in the air, a nice sweet smell that seems to draw him to it. So, talking James into going with him, they followed the smell Along the way, they meet a friend, an angry farm dog, an even angrier farmer and a Sly Fox Follow them into their next big adventure.

Fairy and Elf children have been disappearing from the peaceful Kingdom of Knownotten. Topaz, a very unusual cat with special conjure powers is determined to find out why. He is joined by friends who want to help him solve the mystery, but it's up to the Yellow Conjure Cat alone to learn how to use his untested powers to protect the kingdom and its inhabitants from harm.

Kieran is visited by the Agutints from Vigandond and a refugee who is fleeing from another universe. Kieran and Professor Cummerford are not sure how to handle it. The refugee turns out to be an incredibly gifted scientist.
