For so long I was scared to tell anyone, to go against my abuser and speak up. In this poetry book Sarah is done living silent and is documenting their healing process: the ugly, the angry, the messy, the joy, love after trauma and everything in-between. Chapter 1 = drowning: which is when u just start working through your trauma and you are hardly getting by Chapter 2= fighting: when u decide you want to fight and live although it's still incredibly hard Chapter 3= healing: You have done so much work it still hurts so much but you have started making real progress Chapter 4= love after: this is many failed relationships being in love with your friend, one sided love. Hurting people because u can't accept love Getting heart broken Finding a healthy relationship Loving too hard Loving not enough Long distance etc
