It's a poem about my dad and his wife

Cyn comes to realize the part that her mom played in her insecurities and co-dependencies. She comes face to face with the reason for her fear of success, and how the one person she considered her world, influenced her lack of self love. She writes her mom a letter, explaining her new perspective on their family dynamic, and how she has realized that sometimes we have to love people from afar in order to keep them in our lives.

He was never taught how to love himself. Not when the people who were supposed to love him first... didn't. This is the story of a boy shaped by silence, a heart that tried to save him, and the ache of learning that even the loudest love can't always drown out a lifetime of damage.

They said time heals everything. They forgot to mention the things it leaves behind. "Still Bleeding Quietly" is a collection of poems for the ones who loved too deeply, trusted too easily, and broke too quietly. For the ones who were shaped by loss, shattered by betrayal, and taught early on that love doesn't always mean safety. If you've ever missed someone who isn't coming back, loved someone who never loved you back, or survived a version of your childhood you're still unlearning this book is your echo.
