A 10-year-old girl named Maisie has always wished for adventure in her ordinary farming life. One day, after a family tragedy, she runs away, only to find that she has somehow been teleported to a new world, one in medieval times with magic and strange people and animals. Everything that she has always wanted is here, and she is sent on a quest to save this new world from danger. Elias was older than Graciela, but with their separate grades, people started to think otherwise. Soon, Graciela was in sixth grade, Elias in fifth. Girls were crushing on Elias and his bad boy looks, and boys were crushing on Graciela and her model-like body. Elias has always declined the girls and Graciela the boys. They never felt that pull. Elias longed to be with his ex-best friend, but Graciela had mainly forgotten him. When they meet again, will sparks fly? Or will Elias's love be only one-sided?
