In the war-ravaged streets of Myanmar, 8-year-old Arkar is forced to become a parent and protector to his 2-year-old sister Myi. Orphaned and alone, he becomes a domestic helper and a restaurant cleaner-enduring abuse, hunger, and humiliation, all for one reason: Myi. As bombs fall in the distance and the world turns its back, Arkar gives up everything-his dreams, childhood, and body-to keep Myi fed, educated, and safe. But trauma doesn't fade just because you survive. Years later, Myi grows into a brilliant young woman with a future Arkar never imagined. But the past has claws-and when Arkar's buried pain resurfaces, both siblings must fight not just for survival, but for healing. A story of brutal truths, unshakable love, and the invisible scars child labor leaves behind. They called him a servant. But to Myi, he was everything. -:DISCLAIMER:- This is a work of fiction, inspired by the harsh realities faced by many children around the world who are trapped in cycles of poverty, abuse, and child labor. While the characters, settings, and plot are imaginary, they reflect the lived experiences of countless real children who suffer in silence. This story contains graphic depictions of child labor, physical and emotional abuse, sexual abuse (non-explicit but emotionally impactful), trauma, illness, and death. It is intended to raise awareness, evoke empathy, and spotlight the hidden injustices that often go unseen and unheard. Due to the intense and disturbing nature of the content, this story may not be suitable for highly sensitive readers or younger audiences. Reader discretion is strongly advised. If you or someone you know has experienced trauma or abuse, please seek help from a licensed mental health professional or a support organization in your country. You are not alone. This story is not written to glorify pain-it is written to honor survival.

This poem is about the horrible crime, i.e. Child Labour. In the world, there are some people who don't understand how child labour could affect the bright future of a child. I tried to tackle this social issue and tell those who are with their ears shut that it's not late Please Wake Up and educate children. Everyone has a right to education and it's not good snatching that right and handing then with tools in the age they should go to school.
