Wake Up Disorder; deffined as a psychotic disorder characterized by shutting out reality and submerginh ones self into a world of their making. I was diagnosed with this when I was way too young to even make sense of that explanation. While I now know what it means, I still can't understand how to tell one reality from the other. After the death of my mother my father moved us into his childhood home deep in a hemlock forest. We lived there in one reality while in another I was a prisoner being starved slowly to death. Which experience was truly real? Am I still living the wrong one? Maybe recounting the ordeal can help me figure it out...

Step into the warm countryside of Kerala, where childhood meant cousins running barefoot, sip-ups under the scorching sun, games echoing through the fields, and the smell of payasam filling the air. Last Summer is not a tale of big adventures, but of little joys mangoes smashed with salt and chilli, ghost stories that kept us awake, and a grandmother's voice calling us home. A heartwarming story of love, laughter, and the memories that stay with us long after the summer is gone.

"She was only six when love started to hurt." Hailey Morgan was a bright, playful little girl who adored her mother more than anything. But behind closed doors, what looked like a normal home slowly became something darker. Her mother's moods shifted without warning. One moment loving, the next explosive. Hailey never knew what would trigger the anger, a silly question, a remote control, the sound of her laughter. At first, it was just yelling. Then came the threats. And eventually, the bruises. Told through the innocent, unfiltered voice of a child, this story explores the painful reality of growing up in a home ruled by fear and confusion. As Hailey tries to hold on to the version of her mother she once knew, she begins to question whether love should ever feel like this. A deeply emotional, haunting look into the mind of a little girl trying to survive what no child should ever have to. Based on a real life event

Church can be a strange place for a child, especially one who wavers between giddy hysterics and morbid despair as he sits through the "many slowly counted seconds" that make up a Catholic Mass.

Endgame (noun): the final stage of a game when only a few pieces remain. A new year at Anubis House means new secrets, new dangers-and some familiar faces missing. With Nina Martin staying behind in America, Camilla-Anne Rutter figures life might finally slow down. (As if.) Instead, she and Eddie start sharing visions: a dying man, a strange key, and a warning tied to new girl KT. Whatever's coming, it's dragging them all straight into another deadly mystery-and Camilla's not about to let her Osirian face it alone. As clues start stacking up, so do the red flags. Miss Denby, the new teacher, spends way too much time whispering with Victor and Mr. Sweet. (Because sure, that's totally normal. Maybe they're planning an opera-themed bake sale?) Camilla knows better: something bigger-and darker-is moving just beneath the surface. But nothing can prepare her for the truth about her own magic. The family obsession with Egypt isn't just a harmless quirk; it's a legacy, ancient and powerful, and Camilla's destiny is far more tangled with the past than she ever imagined. The final moves have begun. Loyalties will be tested, powers unleashed, and the secrets of Anubis House may finally come to light. Ready or not, it's endgame-and this time, not everyone will get out unscathed. If you like this book, you should check out the rest of the series: Cover by SarahRCubitt13 *Disclaimer: I do not own House of Anubis. All of that belongs to Hans Bourlon and Gert Verhulst. I, however, own Camilla-Anne Rutter and her little storyline :P I hope you enjoy it!*
