One day, his parents purchased him a brand new bed for his birthday, and then everything changed. It all started when he dropped his book on the floor to go to sleep after a long few hours of reading, but noises from under the bed awoke him, and the dragon made itself known. While the dragon offers vast stories and great wisdom, He also brings great danger. A blood-lusting dragon slayer has his heart set on killing everyone in his clutch. Will he be able to defend Garret and his own life? Or will they both die trying...

In the world of Caliron, how you live life is determined by your birth. Born weak, live in poverty. Born mediocre, live a life as a noble in comfort. Born strong, live and die in an Institute. Your strength is determined by your Oubig, or Ability, and the drawback of using it. Some can run faster than light, but tire easily. Some can cause grand scale illusions, but are hunted by twisted versions of what they create in their dreams. Others can hear when someone lies in their head. Constantly, to the point of torture. Others can only lift small objects, and fall ill after too long. Where you fall on the strength spectrum is decided by the Calirola, a group of ten people that act as a government. It's a dangerous world to live in for everyone, especially those who resist the natural order of things. ---------------------------------------------- IGHT SO this will follow the stories of like, ten main characters, some who've I've made and some who I haven't made yet.
