Chapter 5

Aday Johnson and her older sister Kelly are traveling to Seattle Washington. They decide to make a quick stop in Galtin, a small town that isn't even found on a map. Their quick pit stop in the abandoned town takes a quick turn when the sisters run into Malachai & the rest of the followers for 'He Who Walks Behind the Rows' Inspired by Children of the Corn (1984)

There's a new family arriving to Gatlin, Nebraska but little do they know what creepy things really go down. A "Children of the Corn" story with a love twist.

After escaping the malevolent rural cult comprised of murderous children (y/n) was able leave Gatlin safely without raising an alarm and being killed on the spot for betrayal. Thanks to the outlanders acting as a distraction from Malachi's watchful eyes, she fled before anyone could notice her absence, traveling far and wide in search of a place where she could call home. *Note* This is actually my first book 😅 so if I make any errors in my writing please let me know and I'll go back and fix it. Also, the purpose of me writing a mystery slasher x the reader is because I wanted to do something different from the other authors and their lovely books. Everyone always states who the slasher is. Well, I (dearest Author-chan) decided to make it interesting 😁 I wanted to wait a few chapters and drop hints on who the slasher I picked for this book is 😊 then I will reveal this figure the chapter after I drop the ultimate hint. Isn't it exciting?? (I don't own The Children of the Corn or the Slasher I picked for this book! You own yourself!)
