Picture Book entitled "Me and the Dark" about How to overcome our fear of darkness A 6-year-old girl who was afraid of the dark because she was imagining something that might be lurking in the dark. She always sleeps with the door open and keeps the light on. But her mom always supports her to overcome her fear by reading her a fairy tale bout a brave princess who fought a monster in the dark. At first, it wasn't easy for her, but she kept trying to overcome her fears and she succeeded. So, it's normal to be afraid of something, but it's important to face our fears and not let them control us.

Iggy was a strange and unusual fellow. No bigger than the hands of a pocket watch, he made his home inside a violin, forgotten to time along with the rest of the treasures left behind in the room atop the manor. Though he was content to live out his days in the safety of the attic, the world outside the window called to him, and he found himself longing for something new, something more. However, the journey into the outside world is more dangerous than Iggy ever could have expected, but with the help of a stranger he meets in the woods, the world starts to seem a little less frightening.

Little Men, or Life at Plumfield with Jo's Boys, is a novel by American author Louisa May Alcott, first published in 1871. The novel reprises characters from Little Women and is considered by some the second book in an unofficial Little Women trilogy, which is completed with Alcott's 1886 novel Jo's Boys, and How They Turned Out: A Sequel to "Little Men". It tells the story of Jo Bhaer and the children at Plumfield Estate School. It was inspired by the death of Alcott's brother-in-law, which reveals itself in one of the last chapters when a beloved character from Little Women passes away. The American comics scene at large is an example of a children's industry that started catering to a small number of adults over time. A case where one shouldn't mistake something for actual maturity.

Anyone who knows me knows that Coraline is one of my favorite stories of all time. Literally, since I was only 10 years old! I took a Women's Literature Course and came back to it as an adult, and I took a dive this awesome book from a "Feminist Lens" for extra credit. Hope some other fans of the story will enjoy my analysis!!

This is a translation I wrote last year for our friends' child's baptism. The original poem was written by the beloved and brilliant Sukumar Ray, one of the greatest and treasured authors in Bengali children's literature. I love his stories and poems because they capture the world through a child's eyes - curious, innocent, playful, and kind. I am a Bengali and I love my language and I stand proud of it. I love that globalization has opened our doors and our minds aiding us to meet, understand, and embrace people from different countries, cultures, colors, and stories. Hopefully, you enjoy it too.

Deep in the ocean, where nothing exciting ever happens, lives an oyster. Then one day, a piece of sand gets stuck in his mouth. Ouch! The oyster tries to get it out, but nothing works. Will he forever be stuck with the annoying piece of sand? Or will something special happen from his season of discomfort?

Maybe Teardrop did have feelings after all...
