His strange distaste for the Knights of Favonius, his constant brooding demeanour that he suddenly gained one day, and why he keeps so quiet about his father's death. But it may be that the strangest thing about him at all was the fact that, after his father's death, he disappeared. He was gone for years, leaving the nation in search of the truth of what happened to his father. The only one who knows the reasoning to his disappearance, was his childhood best friend, whom he grew up with, Kaeya Alberich. He never told another soul, even on all of his journeys. Or so he thought. Old memories resurface when a face from Diluc's past turns up again in what might be the most horrible way possible.

On the night that blood was shed, It was rather cold. The sickening damp iron smell only making it worse, Seemingly making him grow colder even with his pryo vision blazing at his hands. Heaving, as water drips down his face and onto his fading father. Yet anger still burns. His brother behind him, hysterical at the events that just took place. To leave behind whats left of his damaged personality and tapering relationships after years of becoming numb and shutting people out ... Atleast that's what he planned to do.
