24 years before the region formed its towns and cities today, it was a barren island running afloat in the seas with no direction. For years the island only served as a quarry for resources but a researcher by the name of Helene saw the greater potential. Once the Pokemon League of the Serche region opened, young Trainers from all the other parts of the region and beyond gathered to partake in the Gym Challenge. Succeeding above all the Trainers as the rules go will grant them the title of the first "Champion" of the region. Alice just got her first Pokemon from Professor Rowan. Bad thing is she's terrified of Pokemon. The only reson she's on this journey is so she can go back to working at the circus she was born and raised in. the league keeps changing the rules making it nearly impossible for new trainers to get enough monney to support themselves much less their Pokemon, and heaven forbid if they can get better.
