(Obviously, this story takes place in Hunter x Hunter and during the Chimera Ant Arc.) It all begins when a Chimera Ant Queen discovers the nutritious value of human food, and begins to create an army of Chimera Ants that possess human traits. The ants are created with one goal in mind, to provide their queen with enough food in order to birth the King, who is destined to rule all. Some ants ensure that this goal is reached, while others aren't the most loyal and follow their own desires. One ant, an officer, has no problem with the purpose given to him at birth. However, when certain events unfold and unexpected changes occur, where will he fall within all of this chaos, and what will he end up finding value in? In this story, Neferpitou will be female. I'm only saying this because of Pitou's gender ambiguity, and depending on the source, Pitou is either male, female, or in most cases unknown. Alright, here is my favorite part of writing a fic....wait for it...THE INTRO YASS Note the sarcasm -.- ~I watched, my eyes widening slightly, as the once sturdy looking cocoon shriveled into what I could only describe as a grape that had been drained of everything within it. It was almost unrecognizable as to what it was before, a shadow of its former glory. The brown, shriveled cocoon now hung loosely above me, daring to drop down onto me any second. What grotesque creature dug it's putrid body through such a disgusting shell? What in this world could have driven it to rip through something like a wild animal? It didn't take me long to put two and two together and figure out that I was the morbid creature that dug and ripped my way out of that prison. While taking in the scene around me, that was the only logical conclusion I could come up with. How? My brain wouldn't allow me to remember the exact incident. Today, was the first day to a whole new life. My first day where I was truly alive.
