This kind of epic novella takes the Chinese Astrology as a background theme, where the zodiacs are represented by peoples living in kingdoms. This tale is slightly ironic as well as serious. It is about egoism, guilt, sacrifice and homesickness, and deals with topics like adults fighting over children as well as selfish people who can change, whereas others remain the way they are. Sometimes mistakes we do can affect other people's life in a crucial and dramatic way. But will there be a Happy End? Written for the occasion of the approaching Chinese New Year 2022 the short story was intended to work out personal things as well as entertaining the own kids - although this is not a story for children - by playing with their zodiacs and that of a (celebrity) person they are fond of. This explains why this story can put into the category of fanfiction, too. (The Author)
