I tried to introduce Chinese history to my children. But it is hard to find good, easy, and engaging books targeted toward kids. So I decided to write for my kids. I started with prehistoric times told in Chinese myths and legends. Those are the stories every Chinese knows in China. Here are a couple of stories. Even the land was tired of the battles- it was wasted. The king assumed that nothing in front of him would be still alive as he rode pass with his fatigued horse. In the deaf of the wind he heard faint crying, he scanned over the bodies on the blood-soaked mud. His steed jumped and nayed putting the king out of balance. A figure slowly raised up covered in maroon mud. It was too short and slim of statue to be a soldier. As it raised completely up to its own feet and the only pure sight was the pair of the whites and dark eyes. He realized what he was seeing-- a little girl. In her eyes, the king saw the sorrows of the people and the land.
