Bensheng arrives at the Academy after passing trials, where the Old Dean acknowledges him. The grand unveiling of the Venerable One's original manuscript for the people is disrupted by the disappearance of one scroll. Yeluo, a Court Supervisor, rushes to find it but is stopped by Bensheng, who stands frozen.
