This story takes place in a somewhat calm, ghetto, ratchet county in Louisiana about a boy named Kairo smith getting into a fight with a friend he had recently fallen out with over something that friend falsely accused Kairo of. When kairo gets home that day his mentally abusive mother who is addicted to drugs ( Darlene ) get into an argument which leads kairo to go on a walk. Later on in the story Kairo will meet the love of his life and she will help him go through his problems together but while dealing with the friend who he had fallen out with that leads Kairo getting tied to some gang related activities which leads to him being killed at the end of the story. (This book contains no smut just in case you're wondering)
