As evening falls, a grief-stricken boy sits on a cliff, overwhelmed by the loss of a close friend and ready to end his life. The pain of memory and guilt becomes unbearable, and he sees the water below as a final escape. Just as he's about to give in, he notices a mysterious boy dancing on the beach with a record player, radiating freedom and lightness. Something stirs within him-an unfamiliar feeling of hope and longing. When he tries to get closer, he slips and falls into the water. The dancing boy saves him, and they lie together on the shore, wet and breathless. In their brief, tender exchange, the boy introduces himself as Heizou Shikanoin, and the one he saved reveals his name-Kazuha Kaedehara. Heizou promises to teach Kazuha how to dance, both literally and metaphorically, sparking the beginning of something new. Kazuha, for the first time in a long while, feels a reason to keep going.
