Y/n has amazing powers, but they come with a hefty price. She has never liked the downside to her abilities, but after meeting Loki, she tries even harder to conceal her disadvantage. When trouble strikes and she uses up the majority of her magic, she has no choice but to ask for help from the one person she was trying to hide her weakness from. All finally seems to be righting itself in Kei Nagai's world; his sister no longer despises him with ALL of her being, his friendship with Kai seems to be improving, and he is no longer being hunted down by the government. All is perfect... until he wakes up falling. Crash-landing (literally) into another dimension, Kei captures the attention of a specific organization when he falls onto their Helicarrier. A specific one-eyed Director decides that he is perfect for the group of beings he is assembling to save Earth from a god.

All Loki had was his months old daughter when the love of his life is killed. He soon goes mad and the Asgardian council decides to take baby Colima away and place her with a family on Midgard. Fast forward fifteen years and Loki has all but forgotten his daughter that was stolen away from him as an infant. He makes a deal with the Chitauri to bring them the Tesseract in exchange for power and control of Midgard. Colima has grown up with her adopted family not knowing who she really was until Loki decides to make a 'guest appearance' on Midgard to take two things, the Tesseract and take back his daughter.

I was plummeting towards the ground of New York City from an altitude that only fighter jets use, and I couldn't do anything about it. Who would've thought that I, Maximum Ride, would die from something that wasn't supposed to be able to kill me. My wings had a clamp on them keeping me from flying, and my hands were bound in front of me. I was so beat up that I couldn't even move. I couldn't struggle to get my wings free let alone fly. I was about to die. After twenty-two years of surviving what the universe had to throw at me, I was going to die. As I closed my eyes and accepted my fate, I was snatched out of the air by something big, muscular, and green. Hulk. After a couple of long seconds of free fall, he threw me at something. I landed on something soft and fluffy, like a mattress. My head turned to the side and I could barely make out the S.H.I.E.L.D logo as I sunk into darkness.
