She is best known for playing the role of Geeta Rao in the 2005 film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. She is married to Indian golfer Jyoti. Randhawa. Chitrangada Chahal was born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. His father Colonel Niranjan Singh Chahal is an Indian Army officer. Her brother Digvijay Singh Chahal is a golfer.
