**What happens when the person you've known for years finally becomes real?** Y/N never expected an online friendship to become one of the most important relationships in her life. For years, she and Chris stayed connected across thousands of miles-talking, laughing, sharing pieces of their lives, and slowly becoming closer despite the distance. Every so often, Chris would make the journey from Korea to Pennsylvania just to watch her perform with her choir, turning a friendship that began through a screen into something that felt surprisingly real. Eventually, the two of them make a plan to close the distance. With Chris helping make the trip possible, Y/N finally finds herself on her way to Korea-not as a fan meeting her idol, but as a friend finally getting the chance to spend real time with someone she's known for years. What neither of them expected was how much their relationship could change once there was no screen, no distance, and no ocean separating them. New friendships, music, unexpected opportunities, and feelings neither of them are quite ready to name begin pulling Y/N into a world she never imagined would become part of her life. Because sometimes, the person you've been waiting to meet isn't a stranger at all. **They're someone you've already known all along.**

The Distracted Genius of a family with a lineage documented since 1638 - having survived the gales of WWII and the weight of the Communist regime - has finally, after decades of windy adventures, received the keys to a haunted sexton's house. This book is a collection of stories exploring how history can traumatize a mind through echoes alone. It is the record of a genius who never faced the storms firsthand, but was shaped by their telling-now seeking recovery through the power of the ancient resonance of music.

She knows how to win people. She just doesn't know what winning will cost her. Cecilia "Sisi" van der Meer has spent years learning how to belong. The right education. The right manners. The right version of herself for whatever room she enters. But when Sisi arrives at university in Manchester, she discovers a world where friendship can become competition, privilege can look like tradition, and belonging is rarely as simple as being invited in. Then comes a reckless wager. What starts as a game of social ambition pulls Sisi into a whirlwind of international friendships, old-money circles, academic rivalry, choir politics, chaotic journeys across Europe-and a relationship she never expected. For the first time, Sisi seems to be getting everything she ever wanted. The friends. The achievements. The admiration. The doors opening. But the more she proves that she belongs, the more she begins to wonder: Who is she when she isn't trying to prove it? Between university politics, music, romance, cultural clashes and the complicated expectations of the people around her, Sisi must decide whether she wants to win every room- or finally become free enough to leave one. The Knocking is a story about romance, friendship, ambition, identity and the uncomfortable distance between being admired and being known.

Every Saturday in February for Catholic-raised Charity Jacobs was consistently as predictable as the Saturday that came before. Neatly making her bed after springing out of it at no later than 9 AM. Buttered Belgian waffles with raspberries for breakfast and a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice. Doing pages of calculus homework until it was time to lead her church's youth group session. Returning home to iron her school uniform and watch Gilmore Girls before crawling back under her rose pattered duvet. When Charity begins volunteering at Saint Peter's Rehabilitation alongside her Aunt Margo, every Saturday in February for Charity Jacobs becomes entirely about watching Zoe Morell from across the room. The consistent unpredictability of twenty year old Zoe Morell's Saturdays is what landed her in rehab in the first place. Loose baggies of cocaine on her bedside table. Finally deleting random numbers off her phone from various one night stands. Spending the last bit of her waitressing money on tattoos, cigarettes, and another new drum kit. The bassist of her band Fiction and closest confidant, Jesse, was the only reason she showed up to that first meeting at Saint Peter's. Seeing Charity again after running into her at a show Zoe played two weeks ago, was the only reason she'd be coming back. Charity and Zoe soon outgrow the six hours a week they're around each other formally, and end up spending more time with one another than either one of them ever envisioned. This results in a drastic change in their everyday lives - both romantically and otherwise. No more youth group. No more one night stands. No more predictability. As their entanglement increases in intensity, the two find themselves knee-deep in the most compulsive and exhilarating Saturdays they've ever known. The moment Charity placed her faith in Fiction, she knew there was no going back.

Jenny has never felt true belonging in the choirs, even after being invited along by Oliver Mills, the face of the elite choir clique, but decides maybe this trip will change things. What begins as a slow summer in an old beach house right on the edge of the ocean, owned by the department's recently divorced staff pianist, quickly picks up steam when Jenny and Oliver meet Calliope Hendrickson, a mysterious local who has to be hiding something more than the signature espresso blend she serves at her eclectic boardwalk coffee bar. Romance also ravages the group, raising tensions higher than the afternoon tide. Bound by the unbreakable ties of music and unexpected friendship, the ragtag chorus of beach house number twenty-two must find a way to survive the summer unsplintered. And Jenny and Oliver, who have been forever searching for themselves, have plenty to uncover beneath the purple Pearl Island sky. Especially when a very familiar body washes up on the beach. 𝆑𝆑 Ⓒ KAILEEC22 / 2022 ORIGINAL
