𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥 Poetry. In here, lies pieces of me. In over-the-counter poetry.

As I look at the girl to my left, I watch as tears fill her eyes and she sets down her head on the desk, curling up into a ball, as, I would assume, an act of protection. To block out the world. To protect herself from the relentless cruelty she faces every day. All I want to do is help her, but I don't know how. What could I possibly say to ease this poor girl's conscience? I didn't know what else to do. She was hurting, so I helped.

(Previously called: The Only Light) In the future, all of the world and its people reflect only black, gray, and white, save for a population, the Lights, that decreases by the years. Ellen Dawn is now the last Light to exist. She is feared by everyone around her, referred to as a Color, not a Light, and is forced on the outskirts of town, though she chooses to stay for the sake of the Normals. Lucky for her, one Normal can see past the "danger" she reflects to see who she is on the inside.

Written for the WonderTheMovie Contest. Lauren is a high school senior. She has one painful story, but instead of letting it tear her down, she chooses instead to help a young girl, Amber. Lauren notices Amber going down a path all too familiar and makes the decision to extend a hand. What Lauren receives in return shows how even in the darkest of times, kindness can unlock incredible things.

A middle school girl who has lost her father to a terrible accident has almost everything in her life except her dad. She suddenly starts to lose all of those amazing things due to bullying and the harsh reality of the world.

A Caucasian cop and African American cop are like 2 peas in a pot and then a new police comes in that is Caucasian as well. So the 2 Caucasians get close and tend to leave the African American officer out of things. Will the African American cop become friends with both of them or stay mutual?!

Parker grew up with Calloway and is used to seeing him running through the halls in a cape and mask, clutching a comic book to his chest. Nobody knew why until his teacher finally explained to the class that his father, a comic book artist, dissapeared and that it's effected him in ways that nobody can really explain. "Umm..okay, whatever." He said it like I was talking about something really boring. I guess I'm boring, "So, what's your name?" I asked. He just walked away, nobody wants to be my friend. Why? It's hard to fit in, when you always stand out (in a bad way) I'm just trying to blend in, somehow I'm different. Everybody has their own personality, somehow my personality is weird? Hate, just living a life

Kindness is what everyone in the whole world needs sometime in their lifetime. Every act of kindness grows the spirit and strengthens the soul. Loana, a 16 year old girl who had been in a car accident has caused her to make her feel that the world is nothing, but filled with unfairness and sadness, ends up meeting someone who changes her with a little kindness. #WondertheMovie
