The surrounding towns that you've visited are all but deserted, but those who did dare to say speak of a malevolent creature that preys on the children each night draining them of blood, leaving only a mangled body as the sun rises each morning. You felt a duty to do something, whether it was your linage as a knight or out of a pure twisted curiosity so you decided to visit the castle made of an unnatural crimson rock. You feel that you must slay the dark thing, slay the vampire. Or die trying... or something else? You decide.
